Our programme is as follows:
After-school forest club (currently on pause)
Our after-school forest club is open to children age 6+ and usually runs on Mondays and Tuesdays during term time.
We are on pause currently as we are looking to recruit more facilitators – please get in touch if you’d be interested in learning more!

Family music session
Last Sunday of the month at 10:30am
An informal community-run music session, hosted at The Children’s Allotment. A playful intro for kids to making music together, group singing and learning about musical instruments and musical traditions. For adults: a chance to play and learn songs that kids enjoy and meet other people who enjoy that. Children should come with an adult.
As this event is not run by The Children’s Allotment, the best way for last minute updates on sessions running is to join the WhatsApp group – please get in touch via our contact page to join this if interested!
Growing Group Fridays
Every Friday at 10.00 – 13.00
We’re on site every Friday with young families involved in the Growing Group – seeding, weeding, growing and harvesting food and flowers in our polytunnel raised beds. Learn gardening skills together and grow your own tasty food! Family friendly but also for adults who want an active lunch break! Children should come with an adult.
Fridays are also open for volunteers to help maintain the site. Please get in touch via the contact page if you’re interested in adopting a raised bed or volunteering on site regularly.
