You can book our beautiful site for your event. The space is ideal for private events including birthday parties, celebrations, courses, workshops, meetings, play groups, training days or film screenings. The space can be used as a one off event or for regular bookings. Members of the Children’s Allotment benefit from discounted hire rates.

About our site:

The Children’s Allotment is a primarily outdoor space with a max capacity of 70 people. The site includes two covered polytunnels with a large open space on one side and raised beds for growing on the other. We also have a beautiful a yurt with sofas.  The outdoor area includes many play areas such as a wood chip area with tree swings and platforms, a play house, mud kitchen and hammock as well as many fruit trees, a fire pit, a fully functioning compost toilet and hand washing station. You will also have use of a kettle and indoor lighting and power sockets in the polytunnel. The site also includes some tables, and a selection of seating/small chairs.

Please note that we are making several improvements to the accessibility of the site for wheelchair users. Please get in touch for more information if you have any questions or accessibility needs to discuss.
